Dirk Nicol, longtime tech innovator and founder of My AI Transformation, outlines an emerging trend that might just reshape how marketers work: vibe coding.
Coined by Andrej Karpathy, “vibe coding” describes the process of using generative AI to build real, working code through natural language prompts. Unlike traditional no-code tools, these applications output actual code that can be customized, scaled, or handed off to developers. But what’s revolutionary isn’t just the tech—it’s who can use it.
“Marketing has always been full of ideas. But getting those ideas into interactive formats like calculators or quizzes could often mean months of back-and-forth with agencies or developers,” Dirk explains. “Now, with vibe coding, marketers can build prototypes or even full tools in days, not months.”
Dirk shared a real-world example: Maggie AI, a landing page analyzer that provides marketers with actionable feedback on design, messaging, and calls to action.

Built using vibe coding principles, Maggie offers a consistent, AI-based critique that reduces the subjectivity (and politics) of design reviews.
As you can see, this new wave of tool-building is more than a productivity boost. It reflects a shift in who gets to create, and the whole process surrounding creation. “We’re entering the age of the empowered generalist,” Dirk says. “If you’ve got creative instincts and can learn a bit about prompting, you can build.”
For marketers frustrated by tech bottlenecks or stalled campaigns, vibe coding might be the fastest route from concept to impact.
